Dr. Bahr has made several trips to Costa Rica to provide dental care to the indians of the Talamanca Indian Reserve. These people have been neglected by the government for many years, having one government dentist visit once a month, for a day, for 30000 people. All types of dental treatment are provided, inlcuding root canals and fillings. The people are very appreciative, and the work is very gratifying. The weather is extremely hot, humid, and the bugs leave sores, but it has been worth the effort to provide care to a neglected people.
